City of Glasgow College is one of Scotland's largest colleges, home to almost 30,000 students from 135 different countries. Supported by great facilities, they offer a wide choice of vocational and leisure courses.
The college is spread across central Glasgow made up of three of Glasgow’s colleges Central College Glasgow, Glasgow Metropolitan College and Glasgow College of Nautical Studies who merged in September 2010.
To create a vibrant and interesting campus for the students and staff GP Plantscape have helped to transform the grounds with a variety of plant displays.
Concentrating mostly on the outdoor areas of the college we placed barrels and wooden troughs planted with bright flowers. The containers are ideal for the environment as they are hard wearing and long lasting amidst the heavy foot fall and bring brightness and beauty to all the communal areas.
Also provided were various large planted pots. These are positioned at the entrances of the buildings to create an aesthetically pleasing welcome to all the students, staff and visitors.
Within any educational setting it is vital to create the perfect environment for students to learn and thrive, in bringing colour and freshness to the campus the students can enjoy the benefits of having beautiful outdoor spaces to study and simply enjoy.
