Gold for green office

June 5, 2018

The Royal Highland Centre was transformed at the weekend into a gardener’s paradise for Scotland’s national gardening event: with GP Plantscape being awarded a gold medal for its interior green office display.

Gardening Scotland is held annually on the first weekend in June at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh. The event features show gardens for inspiration, the biggest plant fayre in Scotland, a craft tent and The Big Back Garden, a place for kids to get planting and have fun.

GP Plantscape this year showcased a display entitled The Green Office featuring several green walls, which are currently proving popular in office spaces to create visually stunning displays whilst using minimal floor space. The green walls created the centre piece for 2 large triangular displays which were under planted with a variety of tropical plants.

The colour tips of ‘sansevieria velvet touch’ had magnetic force, drawing visitors to the stand which also displayed our GP logo formed from moss and a live picture – ideal for reception areas.

A big congratulations to all those involved in designing and installing the show stopping display.

Our own Lex Kennedy, in collaboration with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), gave an informative lecture on green walling – how to design, install and the benefits of plants.
