Hedging Accentuates Pub Exterior

October 13, 2017

Situated in Muir Street, Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, ML3 Bar opened in April 2004, and is an independent and privately owned freehold bar. It has gained a great reputation for its excellent and unwavering warm hearted service from a wide range of clientele.

During the summer months the pavement area outside the bar transforms into a beer garden where patrons can enjoy a cool refreshment out doors. Previously clad with some trellis and plants Andy Boyle, owner, approached GP Plantscape for alternative ideas to create an attractive barrier to the maintenance workshop beside the bar and backdrop for the customers. The solution presented comprises artificial hedging attached to purpose built wooden structure with pin lights stapled underneath which create a ambient display in the evening for visitors entering the bar.

Work started in our nursery building the panels, adding the lights and partially fixing the hedging before the final installation process on site.

Andy Boyle, Owner had this to say about his project, “When I discussed options with the team from GP, I had my own ideas, but the guys were able to take that and make it even better. The outside wall looks much better now and customers comment on how nice it looks in the evenings with the lights on. The service was great and I am really pleased with the end result.”
