Interior Plant Display Projects
Every interior plant display installation that we project manage for our clients is unique and is shaped firstly by the underlying rationale for installing plants, then the interior decor and style of the office, budgets and finally the building environmental constraints. As a result no two solutions are the same and in this article we wanted to share with you some of the diverse projects we have been fortunate to work on recently.
Modern and Spacious
A bright and modern office this project lent itself to plants that thrive within high light levels and these contemporary black and white containers suited the office interior deign. Installing plants within the cabinet created an unusual display in a functional container, introducing greenery without compromising on space.
The stairway in this Glasgow building presented the ideal opportunity to add an interesting feature with texture and colour through green planting. Sometimes plants are can provide a solution where you might least expect!
Our first project is accommodated in a call centre environment in a modern building which has lots of natural light with teams working at desks for significant periods of time. One of the drivers for installing interior plants was to incorporate nature into that working environment. Research has proven that a view of nature can improve productivity, well being and reduce absence levels. The natural plant material adds greenery to an otherwise artificial environment and furthermore in this project we incorporated planters made of natural material to boost the effect.
To complete this project we installed trough planting between the visitors reception area and the main office space to create a natural division which also keeps noise levels to a minimum through the sound absorption qualities of the plants.
Moving into a brand new office in Edinburgh this construction company’s brief was to provide displays which complemented the space and were a prominent feature in the office area. From the Holey range pictured opposite is the new Grace container and below the tall upright container, Max Flare and the Barrier HD positioned behind the sofa.
For those of you who don’t have a brand new office with floor to ceiling windows this final project may give you hope. Following a refurbishment we installed tall polystone displays into the reception of this listed building in Glasgow proving that plants can have a place in any environment.
