Kilbryde Hospice in East Kilbride is a charity that exists to provide care and support to people affected by life limiting illnesses, such as cancer, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerorsis, C.O.P.D and many others.
The purpose built in-patient hospice with Day Services and Drop-in centre is the first of its kind in South Lanarkshire. Not only does it support the patients but also the carers, families and people who have been bereaved. GP were asked to provide interior plants displays for the reception and foyer area of the hospice.
The interior team made clever use of the Hospice’s budget to create bright and fresh interior plant displays in the reception to welcome in patients and visitors. Using a mixture of silver floor standing units and desk bowls the plants not only create a great visual effect but also give the hospital all the benefits of having living plants.
The splash of colour brightens the space and creates a really positive and comforting atmosphere for everyone at the hospice which is extremely important. The hospice do amazing work and we are happy to be involved in helping them create a space that helps deliver there service.
