Gritting and Snowclearing

Leave your gritting and snow clearing needs in safe hands to keep your operation running throughout the winter.

For almost 20 years, GP Plantscape have been providing proactive gritting and snow clearing services to clients throughout the UK.

From car parks, to loading bays, pedestrian walkways and fire escape – our teams will attend to your specified areas on site, creating a safer working environment and allowing uninterrupted operations.

To allow us to proactively meet your winter gritting and snow clearing requirements, we subscribe to the Met Office OpenSite™ service which forecasts minimum road surface temperatures for all regions we cover. The Met Office data is delivered directly to our bespoke gritting app, automatically generating a visit for your site if your road surface temperature threshold is forecast to be breached.

Extreme Temperatures

In times of extreme temperatures, typically when the road surface temperature is below -5 degrees centigrade, we can carry out a pre-grit visit to your site.

This will ensure that a layer of protection has been implemented prior to the first frost formation during the night. When it comes to clearing your site, we have an extensive range of pedestrian and vehicle mounted machinery to ensure safe access, operated by trained and experienced teams. So, get your skates on and give us a call to sign up for your winter gritting and snow clearing coverage.

“Incorporating biophilia in a recent hybrid pilot workspace for a client in Glasgow was such an important part of the jigsaw. The project included large trees, standing planters in various designs, shelf planters and two bespoke moss walls. The exterior courtyard also underwent a transformation including power washing the paving, sanding and painting of the exterior furniture, new gravel, a new Astro turf putting green and various planters with lovely biophilia displays. The feedback has been fantastic and people have been raving about it from a senior level. A big thanks to all the team at GP who were a great support and pulled out all the stops to ensure completion on time.”
