Time to get all your Ducks in a Row
In the wake of the significant snow falls that we have just recently experienced it may be hard to believe that spring is just around the corner. Whilst alpine conditions in Switzerland, Italy and France are a trifle more severe, the winter weather experienced in some parts of the UK in January have been amongst the worst seen for many years. Our snow clearing and gritting teams have ploughed their way through the work to get to our customers sites combating road closures, abandoned vehicles and continuing snow accumulation to ensure that car parks and walk ways were clear, allowing access for staff and visitors.
Having recently been promoted to the position of Exterior Operations Manager, Andrew Bell has delivered operational efficiencies and an outstanding service to our clients throughout the intense period of severe winter weather.

As temperatures rise and the big thaw follows the weather warnings feature floods and 70 mph winds courtesy of storm Georgina. So whilst we are only approaching February it would be naive to think we are out of the woods yet in terms of winter weather, but glimpses of the delicate beauty of snow drop and their ability to bloom in the harshest of environments along with the lengthening days and the singing of birds give us hope of the emergence of spring.
So as the weather improves our grounds maintenance teams are getting back on track with winter maintenance visits following the recent weather disruption ensuring that sites are looking their best for the onset of spring. The summer season commences on 1st April and with schedules already being prepared it’s time to get your contract in place for the 2018 season.
New for the 2018 summer session we will be launching our customer portal to allow customers with a login and password to access our system, view previous maintenance jobs completed and the date for their next visit. The portal will give our customers immediate access to their schedules and reports of work carried out all in one location at their fingertips. We realise that it is important for our customers to have access to this information at their convenience however our help desk team will still be on hand to answer any queries for those who still prefer that human touch and to speak to a friendly voice on the telephone.
