As an Exterior Team Leader at GP Plantscape you will travel to our customers sites across Central Scotland, supervising a team and delivering exterior landscaping services.
You will be responsible for performing all aspects of the landscape maintenance role and for directing work on site, ensuring that all team members are trained and health and safety procedures are followed.
It will be your job to ensure regular maintenance and repairs of equipment and vehicles are carried out, complete jobs using the company i-Pad and to communicate with customers.
The landscape maintenance regime includes:
- Weeding
- Pruning
- Planting shrubs, bedding etc
- Cutting Hedges
- Grass cutting
- Strimming
- Litter picking
- Maintaining window boxes and hanging baskets
In the winter months, you will deliver gritting and snow clearing services on our customers sites. This will involve shift working and being on stand-by.
You will also assist with the delivery, installation and uplift of Christmas trees and helping other departments where required.
In this customer facing role you are required to be efficient, friendly, polite and helpful. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, confident and enthusiastic, with first class communication skills and proven leadership skills.
For this role we require:
- A full clean driving licence
- Previous experience of exterior landscape maintenance
- PA1 and PA6 certification (preferable).
Role Details
The exterior team leader position is full-time and permanent. You will work on average 40.87 hours per week over 5 days. The job is based in Glasgow.
