We are looking for a proactive Exterior Operations Manager with strong operational and strategic capability, experience in logistics, exterior landscape maintenance and/or gritting, and a solid understanding of horticulture. You’ll excel at team management, relationship building and contractor oversight, bringing commercial awareness and a practical, can‑do approach to everything you do.
Purpose: To manage exterior operations department to deliver exterior landscaping maintenance services, including snow clearing and gritting to commercial clients to a high standard whilst maximising profitability.
Mai duties and responsibilities
- People management
- Financial responsibility for the exterior landscaping department
- Scheduling
- Ensure quality of service delivery
- Health and safety
- Mobilisation of new contracts
- Management of sub contractors
- Liaise with customers regarding operational requirements



For this role we require:
- Full clean driving licence is essential
- Previous experience of exterior landscape maintenance and/or gritting and snow clearing is preferred but not essential
Role Details
The exterior operations manager position is full-time and permanent. You will work on average 40.87 hours per week over 5 days. The job is based in Lanark.
