Trees come with responsibility and landowners, or those who they relinquish their control to, have a duty of care to ensure trees on the property are unlikely to cause harm or damage. By conducting a regular trees survey, potential hazards can be identified, and actions taken to address these.
GP Plantscape can arrange a Tree Management Survey for your property to help you comply with your duty of care. For more information on tree surveys, contact us on 0808 100 3120 or read our news article on importance of tree surveys.
Tree services require specialist skills. At GP Plantscape we can provide qualified tree surgeons to deal with your canopy requirements, whether it be storm damage, thinning of woodland area, felling of trees, cutting out decaying patches or canopy reduction.
As part of our service, we will:
During tree operations a chipper may be utilised on site, as branches can be chipped and either spread or piled in a designated area. These chippings can then subsequently be used for ground cover or biofuel. Larger branches can be cut into lengths and stacked in piles to create a biodiversity area encouraging the natural habitat whilst smaller more manageable logs can also be cut for your future use.
Any material which needs to be removed from site following tree works will be taken to a green recycling plant to be processed into an organic compost.
