Find out how we are working towards net zero.
Saving Energy

Solar panels – we are set to install 20 photovoltaic cells to convert sunlight to electricity.

Heating – a major project to upgrade our heating system has commenced to deliver significant energy savings.

Waste reduction – recycling bins are in situ throughout our offices, all waste collected during our operation is segregated and recycled, green waste is composted and to reduce paper usage additional screens have been provided for all VDU employees.

Fuel – maintenance runs are planned for maximum efficiency using the most direct routes while larger teams and virtual meetings have reduced travel costs.

Eco Solutions

Recycled containers – we offer a range of containers manufactured from recycled materials.

Reused containers – perused containers are refurbished for second hand use.

Biodiversity – take a look at our full range of biodiversity solutions which can help you realise your sustainability goals.

Peat reduction – we can supply plants which have been grown to thrive in a hydroponic or vulcaponic medium cut out the requirement for traditional compost.

Benefits of plants and greenery – interior plants and exterior plants provide many physical and psychological benefits.

Wellbeing

The wellbeing of our teams is core to our sustainability strategy. At GP Plantscape we operate a wellbeing programme to support wellbeing across five pillars.

GP Plantscape are proud to be a Living Wage Employer.

Community Involvement

Recruitment – we provide an opportunity for people within a rural community to work locally in a business where they have opportunities to develop and progress. This includes our Modern Apprenticeship scheme and work experience programmes.

Working with local schools – we regularly work with local schools supplying plants, materials and labour for landscaping projects including vegetable gardens and biodiversity areas.

Philanthropy– every year we donate to a wide range of charities.

“Incorporating biophilia in a recent hybrid pilot workspace for a client in Glasgow was such an important part of the jigsaw. The project included large trees, standing planters in various designs, shelf planters and two bespoke moss walls. The exterior courtyard also underwent a transformation including power washing the paving, sanding and painting of the exterior furniture, new gravel, a new Astro turf putting green and various planters with lovely biophilia displays. The feedback has been fantastic and people have been raving about it from a senior level. A big thanks to all the team at GP who were a great support and pulled out all the stops to ensure completion on time.”
