Maxium Business Park is a 40 acre prestigious office development situated on the main M8 corridor at Motherwell between Glasgow and Edinburgh where, on behalf of Lambert Smith Hampton, GP Plantscape have maintained all areas of hard and soft landscaping in line with the specification provided since the site completion in late 2009.
Exterior Maintenance
The large site has varied terrain over the large area and requires management of the landscape maintenance delivery on site throughout the different seasons.
Putting Surface – Regular maintenance of the onsite artificial putting surface which is located centrally within the park, ensures this main feature remains in excellent condition.
Shrub Beds and Hedging – The remaining planted areas vary from formal straight-line hedges dividing car parking and walkways, to random shaped beds with traditional shrub planting and mulch.
Specimen Trees – The park also benefits from over 200 specimen trees which break up the large expanse of car parks and grass areas.
Lawns – On this large site there are a number of lawn areas which have been broken up by contouring the ground to give a natural soft look. These have to be cut using pedestrian mowers with inbuilt rollers that further highlight these contours. The park’s main landscape features consist of several watercourses leading to main ponds, these are fringed with marginal planting which blend back to the lawns.
Gritting and Snow Clearing – GP Plantscape also provide the gritting and snow clearing service on site to ensure free movement of vehicles and for pedestrians throughout the winter months.
